Spice up your Outlet Covers

I used to redecorate my room every few months when I was younger. I couldn’t stop! Even now I find myself constantly rearranging my furniture or adding new art to my walls or painting my furniture. I think I just like to create stuff and keep busy.

I’m really happy with my room currently, but I’ve been looking around for DIY room decor and have the itch to make some new things for my space. Adding or changing up your decorations is one of the easiest ways to spruce up your room, but it can get really expensive. So here is a cool DIY that will help you customize your room.

Lets get started, here are what you will need:

-Outlet Cover

-Sharpie

1. Make sure your outlet cover is clean. 

2. Draw whatever you want!! Be creative! 

*You could also try this with washi tape.

3. Your done! So easy!

Custom Hair Clips

I really enjoy getting homemade gifts from people. Today I will show you how to get easy personalized hair clips. This DIY is less then 10 minutes to make. Lets get started:

-Hair Clips (you can find them in the Dollar Store)

- paper strips cut into the size of your hair clip.

-Mod Podge

1.Start of by giving your hair clip a small coat of Mod Podge.

2. Lay your piece of paper on top of your hair clip. Let it dry.

3. This is the time you want to perfect the edges of your paper with some Mod Podge.

4. Add another coat of Mod Podge on top of your paper. This secures your paper from peeling off. It also gives it a polished look. 

This DIY is easy and does not cost much. You can also do this with nail polish, however I recommend using white hair clips. Or you can try using washi tape and adding a clear top coat on top. Hope you try it!

How to make Succulent Tea Cups

Teacups have many purposes like drinking tea\coffee and showing them off. You could also organize with them, or you can plant Succulents in them. Today I will be showing you how to make a Teacup Succulent. This is a really easy DIY (do it yourself) project. The things you will need:
-Teacup
-Succulent
-Planting Soil
-Spoon

1. Start off by putting something to protect your work space. Since this project might get a little messy. Also make sure you clean inside off your teacup.
2. Take your Succulent out of the pot it came in and place it inside the teacup. After placing it start adding soil with your spoon around the succulent. You want the soil to fill up to the top, but not over the top.
3. You could add some rocks on top to make it look more delightful. Next you will want to clean off any more soil.
4. Time to show it off! Place your Teacup that has the Succulent on top off a plate. Have it in a place where there is sun. Enjoy!
